SPAAN Tech provided multi-discipline engineering and architectural support services for study, inspection, design, and construction services primarily related to Tollway building facilities and IT Support.
SPAAN Tech assisted during the construction of the new Hospital Pavilion at the University of Chicago Medical Center, an ambitious project which included: 350 new beds, additional outpatient facilities, laboratories, ambulatory services, and other elements).
During the design phase, STI provided programming to align all the hospital requirements with space allocations and provided IT consulting.
For the build-out of the Regional Call Center, SPAAN Tech, Inc. acted as the Program Manager of the infrastructure design and technology coordination processes as ComEd simultaneously relocated two call centers (one local and one out-of-state) into one newly designed facility, able to handle four times the number of agents without any loss of service.
SPAAN Tech, Inc. was responsible for design, construction document preparation, program management and installation of all technology infrastructure cabling for the Lincoln Center Campus Buildings. This included the design of the Main Computer Room, LAN Closets, Outside Fiber Plant, Video Conferencing, CCTV & Satellite systems, Security system.
SPAAN Tech acted as the Program Manager for the Infrastructure Design and Technology coordination for the consolidation of eight Energy Delivery field offices into two buildings, thereby forming a campus environment.
