SPAAN Tech conducted an inventory of the existing Tollway lighting system and prepared a concept lighting design report and a 30-percent lighting design for the interchange of I-90 & I-39 (2,800 feet north of Newburg Road and 2,600 feet east of Mill Road) and on I-39 (from I-90 to 2,100 feet south of Plaza 3).

All existing lighting within those construction limits and ramps was designed to be removed and redesigned/replaced with proper lighting, according to appropriate guidelines. As such, the concept design was based on the latest applicable IES, ISTHA, and IDOT design guidelines and recommendations.
