Thomas Jefferson Pumping Station Improvements

The Thomas Jefferson Pumping Station, located at 2250 W. Eastwood Avenue, provides water to a portion of the Department of Water Management’s service area. It was constructed circa 1928, and has had numerous additions and improvements over the years.

SPAAN Tech electrical engineers provided design services for improvements to the pumping station including:

·     Interior Lighting Improvements – Replacement of existing fixtures with energy efficient alternatives.

·     Security Improvements – Installation of door intrusion alarms, security cameras, and exterior lighting meeting DWM standards.

·     HVAC and Plumbing Modifications – Replacement of existing water heater, replacement of Air Handling Unit in the switchgear room.
